WHY COACHING?

Often, we just don't have the time and energy to take care of ourselves. While many of us can manage to "get by," and some of us can manage to have regularly-scheduled fun, most of us have neglected life-long goals. Many of us don't even know what those goals might be. Some of us have even forgotten what it is we really enjoy doing and have lost ourselves in the chaos of everyday life.

Parents of young children, especially, have little time for themselves. Whether you work outside of the home or as a stay-at-home parent, juggling work and family is not easy. There has been a lot of research and a lot of press on work-family conflict and the difficulties of today's parents. But, the broad solutions offered in the mass media or in research reports are usually not useful to individual parents who have unique family and work situations.

Working with a coach, helps busy individuals make a commitment and set aside the time to figure out how to make effective and lasting changes in their lives. A good coach not only keeps clients "on task," but helps clients identify roadblocks and focus on what will truly make a difference in their own lives. As a result, clients often start to see improvements immediately.

WHY STACY?

Dr. Stacy Kim understands how difficult it is to navigate the needs and demands of work, family and self. She knows these issues well because she conducted research in the work-family arena for many years. More importantly, however, she struggled herself when she became a parent. Knowing how lonely parents' struggles can be, she offers coaching services to help parents not only better manage their work and family lives, but find ways to start pursuing life-long goals.

Stacy assists her clients not simply by applying her knowledge of work-family research, but more by listening to the concerns of individual parents and empowering parents to find solutions that are uniquely suited for their own situations.

As a result, clients feel more confident at work and at home. They feel energized to go after those long-neglected goals. And, best of all, they start finding themselves again as they create and live the lives they want.

Stacy received her doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania and her coach certification from iPEC Coaching, an ICF-accredited coach training program.

Stacy is also a member of ICF.
